Cancellation Policy
1. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson (for whatever reason) they must do so by providing me with at least 48 hours notice. Any notifications under 48 hours notice will result in the student forfeiting the lesson fee. In the case of illness a doctor’s certificate will be required.
2. A lesson is only officially cancelled when it is cancelled on the system.
3. Rescheduled/make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled a second time. You will be able to reschedule up to 2 lessons each term.
4. Students who cancel their regular weekly time slot too often or miss three lessons in a row will lose their time slot and need to switch to a week to week scheduling system.
5. Consistency in a schedule (or making up sessions if cancellation/rescheduling is needed) would be greatly appreciated. It always help to keep small teaching businesses afloat.
6. School holidays: Please note that piano lessons operate all year round and do not close for school holidays. Please get in touch in advance if you wish to cancel any of your booked sessions.
If you need to cancel more than half of your monthly bookings (holiday/ pause from lessons) there will be a retainer fee taken from your account to cover 50% monthly fee.
7. Piano Course termination: If you wish to cancel your bookings completely and terminate the course, I would greatly appreciate at last a month of notice. If you prefer to cancel lessons with the immediate effect you’ll be asked to cover the 50% of the monthly cost.
REFUNDS
I do not offer refunds. Once payment has been received the student must commit to taking the lesson(s) he/she has purchased or they will forfeit the remaining lesson fee(s)
